The EM-50 Urban Assault Vehicle

One of my favorite all-time movies is Stripes. And this is one of the best things about it, the ridiculously awesome EM-50. How amazing would it be to have an RV with a flame thrower and rocket launcher? It would certainly help those camping trips with the obnoxious loud music neighbors (camping with PJ and Sean wouldn't suck either). This MOC by BMW_Indy rocks by any measure, but with the addition of lighting by BrickStuff, it's just over the top.

"Red"

Builder The Deathly Halliwell is back with another inspired MOC. This time it's both comic book superhero Hellboy, the demon with a heart of gold and razor wit. This almost looks like a hybrid of the classic comic book version and the movie version, and it's brilliant.

Shooting "Star Clutch"

It always feels really awkward to blog my own stuff, but I'm really proud of my involvement in the LEGO Adventure Book Volume 2 and I finally posted some pictures on Flickr yesterday. I was also feeling the need to prove that I do build from time to time, it's just all top secret stuff anymore. Many, many thanks to Pete Reid for loaning me the corridor. That's him working on the blip on the table.

We don't normally cover LEGO fan art of this type on this site, but I'm a huge Edgar Wright fan and these are too cool not to share. Behold the Cornetto Trilogy in LEGO by Arkøv! Can you imagine a shot-for-shot animated version of these films? Yeah, booooy!

Kaiju Attack

I have a confession to make, I still haven't seen Pacific Rim (rolls 20 sided die, OOOHHH critical hit, nerd cred -12). It's not that I didn't want to, but seeing movies where I live can be difficult and/or disappointing. But I promise to see it on Blu-ray soon. In the mean time I'll gawk at this amazing MOC by OliveSeon, holy amazeballs!
