Yo Ho Ho And A Bottle Of Rum

This is a absolutely beautiful MOC depicting the Hispaniola as she prepares prepares to make sail to Treasure Island. The attention to detail is superb, as is the build quality. I especially love the diversity of all the buildings, each has it's own personality. The brick-built sails are also very charming. Click through for lots of other pictures. Nicely done Matthew Hurt.

Radiation Lab

There are few jobs that I can think of that I'd rather not do than deal with radioactive materials. Well, that and work at McDonald's. My first job was at the golden arches when I was 16, it sucked. But at least I didn't have to wear protective clothing to keep me alive while doing my job. Nice MOC Outer Rim Emperor.

221b Baker Street

Any Sherlock Holmes fan (myself included) knows that address well. I actually visited there a couple years ago. Yes, that's a real address, and it's been converted into a fairly cheesy Sherlock museum and tourist trap. There's nothing cheesy about this MOC though, it's top notch work by Paul Vermeesch. 

Orðlokarr Castle

With the latest from Mark of Falworth and Brother Steven  the boys are back to their roots, castles. And it's a fine example of the genre they have always excelled at. The rock and stonework is great, and the tudor toppers are totally terrific. This is their thirtieth entry ( ! ) into Iron Builder.

The Temple Of Ennoc

Wow, this is really impressive. There is so much rich detail, texture and building nuance in this MOC that it's truly staggering. I don't know where to begin so I'll just invite you all to please click through and give this a good look at full resolution, it's totally worth it. Nice work Fianat .

Druid's Cottage

This excellent little cottage comes to us from Legonardo Davidy . I really like the diminished foundation, both in scale and construction, it really looks like dilapidated masonry. And the rock work is very cool too. This guy needs to clean up though, the heath department frowns on too many human skulls littering your lawn.

Troll Dreadbringer

This is a striking image, the color palette, the background, the warm lighting, not to mention the build itself. It's all very well done. I like the whimsy of dinosaurs pulling a troll machine of war too, it's fun and terrifying at the same time. Nice work burlogh.

Leonard Of Quirm's Workshop

We need a unit of measure for MOCs like this. Something like BTPI (brilliant techniques per inch) or EPPS (excellent part use per stud). Take a look at everything that's going on here. The lab equipment, the candelabra, the statue, it's all fabulous! 

Meeting Of Heroes

I have to confess this MOC makes reminisce (not in a good way) about endless meetings and conference calls in my VFX days. But I'll get over it because it's pretty awesome. Take a look at that floor, and the frogs as legs for the globe, and the furniture, and the windows. Everywhere you look in this relatively small MOC there's something cool, it's a feast for the eyes. Beautiful Ruins

If you've ever tried, you know how unexpectedly difficult it is to render ruins and decay in LEGO. With something so precisely engineered for structural integrity, getting things to look like this can be frustrating. But Ryclen Icre pulls it off beautifully in this MOC, nice work. 

Utopia

This scene from Simon S. is gorgeous. I like to think when I get caught in a temporal rift or wormhole and find myself transported back in time to the middle ages I will end up in a place like this. Where I will use my mad computer skills to convince the locals I'm a wizard and get free bread and stuff.

Tranquility

The Ironbuilder challenge between Pasukaru76 & Gilcelio is still going, and no matter which one of those two is victorious, we all win. This latest MOC by Pasukaru76 is very zen, I feel more relaxed just looking at it.
